Escaping to the World of the Kais, Goku cannot win even as Super Saiyan 3; with energy shared by all of humanity, urged on by Satan, he forms a colossal Spirit Bomb and erases Buu. The Dragon Balls restore the Earth. Ten years later, at the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai, Buu's reincarnation appears as the boy Uub. Goku fights him in earnest, sees his gift, and takes him to the mountains to train. "Bye-bye, Dragon Ball"—the forty-two-volume story closes here, and whatever adventure remains is entrusted to the journey with a new disciple. As a bonus, the legendary first chapter, with mountain-boy Goku, is also included.
