On Namek's battlefield, Goku arrives and swats aside Recoome, who had beaten Vegeta and the others half to death. Training on King Kai's planet has made Goku a different class, and he buries the Ginyu Force one after another. Ginyu, still wearing Goku's body, loses control and accidentally swaps with a frog. Frieza then faces Vegeta and bares the fangs of Namek's would-be ruler. After the Force vanishes, the planet's true terror finally descends.

Goku arrives, shows the fruit of King Kai's training, and silences Recoome in a single blow. Burter comes apart in mid-air under Goku's strike, and Jeice's last Crusher Balls do nothing. Ginyu, still in Goku's body, tries to report to Frieza but cannot handle the power and runs wild. Goku uses a frog as a shield, steers the body-change into it, and reclaims his flesh. Frog-Ginyu meets a pitiful end under a former subordinate's boot. The moment the Force is gone, Frieza faces Vegeta and the fight for Namek's rule is on. Vegeta cannot even match Frieza's first form and begins to taste despair.
